What is Powder Coating?
Powder coating is a solvent-free combination of organic and inorganic materials applied by spraying an air/powder mixture through a special electrically charged nozzle onto a grounded part. The part is then placed in an oven where the powder melts, flows and cures to form a durable and attractive finish.

Can one part be multiple colors?
Yes, by powdering one color at a time and masking off the places that are different colors, we can easily give the part multiple colors. There may be an additional setup charge associated with each of the different colors you choose. However, if the part can be dismantled into smaller pieces, then it would make powdering it alternate colors a much more practical task, and, the overall quality will be much more consistent than the masking method.

Why should I choose powder coating over wet spray painting?
Powder coating is less costly to apply than liquid coatings. It achieves consistent results with few steps and in a smaller amount of time.
